Freeland also took to social media to break her silence at her new gig, sharing a photo of a preliminary report revealing the hiring. Hello, Daddy, Freeland said. Instagram. “Remember how much I loved comics growing up? Well, [Marvel Studios] Let me turn one into a TV show. I hope you’re here to see her.”
Dyer performs the series alongside Kevin Feige, Luis Desposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, and Jason Gavin. Freeland has co-executive producer credits with Amy Rardan, Christina King, and Jennifer Booth.
A Disney synopsis for the series reads: “Echo’s origin story revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City afflicts her hometown.” “She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she hopes to move forward.”
